|My last night in Townsville was my most enjoyable of the culinary trio. Despite walking into a plate-glass door minutes before commencing the class, “The Upmarket Vegetarian” was a grand success.
Mike, our host, was the obvious choice to ‘chuck another asparagus on the barbie’.
Here’s some our finger food from the night – from top to bottom:
Sesame Sushi Rice in Fried Tofu Pouches (Inari-zushi), BBQ Asparagus, Cream-infused Delhi-style Panir Croquettes (Malai Kofta), Bengali Cashew-studded Saffron-scented Wedding Rice (Pushpanna), Feta, Haloumi & Potato Spring Rolls with Fresh Green Chili-laced Tomato Chutney.
And finally, Crisp-fried Wonton Stacks with Fresh Berries & Cream.
