|Last night’s class at Cheryl and Paul’s beautiful home in Peppermint Grove was a blast.
Cheryl had recently returned home from a holiday in India, so Paul was wearing a kurta and yogi pants for the very first time, along with those pointy Maharaja shoes with the curled up ends. Not very comfortable to cook in, especially since they were about three sizes too small. He even wanted to blacken his face, but we talked him out of it.
Everyone was very enthusiastic to participate, and the camaraderie was so thick you could dip it in batter and fry it. Which reminds me, here’s a picture of Frank doing that very same thing with a succulent batch of eggplant pakoras.
Our team poses for a group photo just before retiring to the dinner table:
I got bed at 1.00 am and rose to do another class this morning at my house. And I’ll be doing it again tomorrow.
A busy three days.
